Pears and Waiting.
This image has very deep meaning for me. While by itself it is very colorful and rich, WHEN it was taken is more important. This was taken at my parents house on June 5, 2012 - a day before my Mom's 76 birthday and two days before she passed away from cancer. I needed to be active, to do something, to create something beautiful while we waited for her to finally be at peace and her soul to ascend to the heavens. I think it is so fitting that the pear and the pear tree represent long life and salvation, respectively.
