We picked up our Christmas tree for the house today.  It wasn’t quite a Charlie Brown tree, but it was probably one of the smallest they had.  We went to a place in Riverwest off of Humboldt Boulevard in Milwaukee called Kellners Greenhouses.  It doesn’t look like much from the street but you don’t see the huge greenhouses stretching back a half a block from the road.  You also don’t see the old horse stables.  The property has been a business for well over 120 years.  There is certainly lots to see (and photograph!)  The owners are awesome and you may also be greeted by their two Chocolate labs.   I’ll be back for sure.  And if you need a tree this holiday season, or plants and flowers next Spring, you’ve got to check out Kellners.

This refreshments station was just inside the front door.  A small front door, I should add. You have to step over the threshold and duck as to not crack your noggin on the door frame.  3 bracketed shots, processed to start as a 32-bit HDR file in Lightroom and then finished in Photoshop.
