Streetlight on the 35th Street Bridge

“The hero is one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.”
–Felix Adler

Another random shot from my short walk in Three Bridges Park yesterday in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee.  This lone streetlight is on the 35th Street bridge that goes over the valley.   Maybe it’s just me, but looking through my lens, I thought this scene looked a lot like photographs taken from the space station looking down at earth and the street lamp could be a robotic arm or something like that.  What do you think?

Day 159 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
