Metal Bench Against Concrete Squares

Metal Bench Against Concrete Squares

A metal bench against a wall of concrete squares taken at the Columbia St. Mary’s hospital on the East Side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  I really liked the grid pattern of the wall broken only by this chair.  The repeating pattern of the wall really makes it stand out.  There shouldn’t be any questions about what the subject is.   And after a long walk around the lakefront (Lake Michigan), after I took the photo, I sat down and used it for it’s intended purpose, to rest!

Day 207 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
