Me and My Shadow

Me and My Shadow

Reflection, meet shadow.   Here is another shot of my son from the Milwaukee Art Museum this Labor Day weekend.   Up on the third floor of the new wing, there are these great big windows overlooking the lake and the rest of the museum.  One of his favorite places there, he loves to look out the window at the spider webs and the lake below.  Seems like he also likes admiring his reflection and shadow.   Hmm…instead of “Me and My Shadow”, perhaps you could call this “Me, Myself and I”.

Again, shot with my Droid Turbo cell phone camera.

Day 341 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
