The Glass Tower on Downer Avenue

The Glass Tower on Downer Avenue

This concrete and glass “tower” sits on the corner of Downer Avenue and Bellview Place on the East Side of Milwaukee.  I’ve tried shooting this many times and have never really captured the shot I wanted.

Necessary Evil

Necessary Evil

A photograph of the necessary evil that is high voltage power lines.  We need the energy – you wouldn’t be able see my photos without it – but the towers are visual pollution on the landscape.   But then again, sometimes the power lines become the subject instead of a nuisance!

Late Afternoon at the Lighthouse

North Point Lighthouse

This is the North Point Lighthouse in Milwaukee’s Lake Park along the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan. This was not what I was planning on shooting but wow, the light was so sublime that I just had to stop .  It was almost as if the sun, clouds, and lighthouse were calling to me

Dreamland

Cafe Winter Solstice
