This is the Lamp-Lite Motel (or at least the sign) along US 51 in Portage, Wisconsin. Now, I have to say up front, I’ve done just a wee bit of work on this one (see below). Taken in June of last year and finally processed today, I was driving toward Baraboo looking for a particular waterfall to photograph. At 60mph, I was almost even with the sign before I even saw it.

This is my commentary on the state of our political system here in the United States. The two main political parties, at least on the national level, for the most part, are the same. In general, they only
Peach. Lavender. Thistle. Orange-Yellow. Or was it Yellow-Orange? Some very obvious names and some that made you scratch your head. I think it would have been great fun to be paid to name the colors of each crayon. Which was/is your favorite color?
