“I’m woven in a fantasy,
I can’t believe the things I see
The path that I have chosen now has led me to a wall…
…It rises now before me,
A dark and silent barrier between,
All I am, and all that I would ever want to be”
–from “The Wall” by Kerry Livgren and Steve Walsh
“Man cannot aspire if he looked down; if he rise, he must look up”
I spent this past weekend camping in Mirror Lake State Park near Lake Delton, Wisconsin. The leaves are changing but probably a week or two away from peak autumn color.
I’ve lost half my marbles. (Only half?) Because I’m going crazy trying to come up with new ideas for this project.
I love the entrance to the Downer Theater on the East Side of Milwaukee. I’ve photographed this facade many times before today.
This concrete and glass “tower” sits on the corner of Downer Avenue and Bellview Place on the East Side of Milwaukee. I’ve tried shooting this many times and have never really captured the shot I wanted.
It’s summertime. A time to be with friends and family, enjoy a cold beer or soda, and talk about life and everything.
While walking to the store today, I stopped to get a shot of the side of this building. I’m not sure if you can see it, but it looked like a giant DNA test result
